In Homer's Odyssey, Penelope, the wife of Ulysses, weaves her tapisserie while waiting for his return. Courted by many suitors, she promises to remarry once her weaving is complete. Yet every evening, Penelope unravels her work, still hoping for Ulysse’s return. My intention was to highlight this often overlooked character in literature in order to create an adaptable and modular fabric.
